Members bluesnapper Posted July 16, 2011 Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 ...but please recommend me a brand of string for my acoustic! Ok, so it's not really the right forum to ask, but here goes. I use EBs on my electrics and they're great. I don't get on with D'Addarios - they seem to go dull on me much too quickly. On my acoustic I've been using D'Addarios and the same thing happens - they get dull and seem to oxidise or something very soon after they're new. I've also tried Martin strings and don't really like them either. So what do you guys - especially if you use EBs on electrics - recommend? Members csm Posted July 16, 2011 Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 Been trying EBs lately (medium light 12-54 Slinky Acoustics), but when I've used up my current stash I may well go back to my previous choice, Martin Phosphor Bronze in the same gauge ...
