Members kylef
Got the chance of another 355 in a part-exchange for a guitar i dont care for too much anymore and want to sell/trade. The only thing is the 355 has had a Lyre tailpiece at some point, and now has a stop tailpiece, meaning that the old screw holes from the Lyre taipiece are now visible on the body. They dont look to be that big/wide, so im wondering how easy it would be to fill them in? While im at it, how easy then would it be to fill in the stop tailpice holes if i wanted to put on a bigsby? I wouldnt bother too much about these holes if i did go the bigsby route, as its a common thing to see, just curious. Anyone got experience filling holes on a 335? Members onelife
On the old guitars, Gibson used to 'cover up' the tailpiece holes on the ones with the Bigsby.
