Show my some electric guitar in contexts where they are rare

I'm not so much into rock as I used to be, and my electric has been seeing little playing time. I'm also not a big fan of the others genres in which the electric guitar is common. However, I really do like Ritchie Blackmore's electric playing with Blackmore's Night, and medieval/renaissance music is an unusual place for electric guitar.

 

As far as music I like medieval, renaissance, classical, celtic, and theatrical music like the stuff from Phantom of the Opera or Corpse Bride. There is also odd stuff I like such as arrangements of songs from old NES games or TV show or movie theme songs.

 

If anyone knows of an electric guitar being use in an unusual context in one of those please post it. Thanks.
