Members wanderoo222
Really like the clear throaty openness of the air norton in the bridge of my Epi lp Studio. What would be ur favorite neck pickup to replace the stock epi pickup? I was thinking of a Gibson Classic 57 or a Seth lover.
Members thecornman
Myself I would put a Dimarzio Humbucker From Hell in there.
Members Help!I'maRock!
my Ibanez has an Air Norton in the bridge and a Virtual PAF in the neck. since they don't make the VPAF anymore, you should go with the 36th Anniversary PAF or the Air Classic. What's the tone of the Air classic like? By the way I'm sitting out the storm here in north fl as I type.

PAF variant. the Dimarzio site does a good job of describing the differences between pickups.

Members panther_king
PAF variant. the Dimarzio site does a good job of describing the differences between pickups. They also have a TON of clips of each pickup on the site. I think the 36th PAF is a good one, but may ultimately sound like a slightly warmer version of the Air Norton; that may be what you're looking for though. The Air classic is a good choice for something a little more contrasting to your norton, and a PAF Pro/PAF Jo would also be good to look into. Members Karma1
I have a Duncan Seth Lover in the neck of my Les Paul and it is a fantastic sounding pickup - highly recommended.I also have a Les Paul copy with a Duncan Jazz in the neck w/ series-parallel switching that sounds great as well. Both have excellent clarity and note articulation.
