Members FireLt
While searching a local pawn shop today, I found a Charvel Strat for 189.00. Nice but I noticed two odd things. One is the serial number was on the neckplate in a stick on tape and the back of the head stock at the top the word "used" was stamped into it. I've laid it away (and can swap it out for something else) until I can determine if its real. Any thoughts?

Members underthestares
The Music Go Round near me had a bunch of those around 10 years ago, and my folks bought me one for Christmas. After a few years the label with the serial number fell off and the section of the neckplate under the label looked filed off, which to me seemed like bad news. I went back to the store and noticed all the remaining Charvel strat types were like that as well (They had about 7-10 of them) though I don't recall them being stamped seconds. All of them were new though. My guess is that they are seconds that the facory shipped out cheap, but I don't really know...
