Find me some H/S Telecasters

Single in the neck, HumB in the bridge.

Most of what I've seen is the opposite.

I don't know why I want to explore these but I do. Seems it would be the best of both worlds.

I've tried standard telecasters and the single pickup in the bridge is always too jangly for me.

Have you considered going in this or a similar direction?

Another option--and one that I think you'd like the sound of--would be this:

or

with this:

"That is nice and I want it! It is dirt cheap too. What's the catch? Anyone played it?"

I have one, like it very much. Pine body is interesting, finish very well done. As w/all guitars at this price point, I'd suggest trying to audition prior to purchasing, but mine was a no-brainer after I had gone shopping for a pricier Tele - sad to say, it had the nicest neck in the store save a '52 RI.

Coil tap on bridge pup is cool; I find the pickups unremarkable but acceptable. If you're gigging or recording for a broad audience, you'd want to think of replacing them.

Very nice build quality.
