Members Iplayloud
Serial is unusual and just Strat instead of Stratocaster. As well as the obvious wood probably mahogany?
Members BlackCustom
Does the body match the neck wood? It looks like it could be one of the very rare rosewood guitars they made at the time.
Members onelife
There was a guitar called "the strat" that Fender marketed in the late 70s and/or early 80s It was a premium version of the stratocaster and came in metallic blue or red with a matching pre-CBS style headstock, something unusual about the pickups, big brass bridge and brass knobs. At one point there was an all walnut version of the guitar (for those heavy sounds) and I think that is what is in the OP picture.
