Members sxyryan
Is this possible? I bought a pedal kit from BYOC (lots of fun BTW) and while ordering, remembered the switch was crapping out on my Russian Bassballs, so I ordered a switch along with my kit. Low and behold, I open the bassballs up to find a 6 pole switch. Is there any way I can use the new 9 pole switch? The stock guts:
Members wartoxin
first write down what the connections were, well you have a photo of course but make sure you know which wires were where. Anyway, I always test everything just to make sure, like remove the wires, check what is connected when switch is on or off, and make notes. If you don't want to do that it may also work to just ignore one set of 3 on the new switch, because they are, usually, the same but one has more sets of contacts ( poles). The 6 is double pole double throw, the 9 is triple pole.
