So while it's technically an acoustic it has a pickup so I think that qualifies as an electric.

I actually got the guitar over a week ago. I have loved Ovations since the 80s and have really been wanting one. I couldn't afford an Adams but I found this.

An Ovation 1778TX. I love the flat black and no fret markers. It's kind of the anti-bling Ovation. It sounds great. It has the OP-Pro pickup and pre-amp. The contour circuit sounds really full and smooth amplified. Unplugged it has a really nice full sound also.



I picked up the amp today in trade for my Ibanez S470. It's an Acoustic AG60. Really wonderful sounding amp with decent built in reverb, chorus and echo. It's two channels with two combo inputs on each so it can also be used for vocals. I'm really pleased with it.



So my acoustic rig is complete (well I'm always on the lookout for other cool acoustics)

I can't wait to try them out with the band tomorrow.
