Members MattM3
Does it have a bass drum in the bottom and a tom on top with attaced cymbol? Do they still make them? Does anyone here have one that they use?
Members Wrawl
These are cocktail drums. I've never played one, but I think it'd be pretty fun.
Members moyerbros
Cocktail drums are generally a stand up kit. It has a longer "floor" tom that is used as a bass drum with an inverted kick pedal on the bottom. On top of it is a snare drum mounted to it. usually a top is mounted off the side. They have a cymbal arm and a closed hi hat attachment. Not the kind of thing you want for playing metal, but it has its function and uses. Yamaha makes a nice kit but it's kind of pricey. I sell the Peace version for under 1/2 of the Yamaha kit. The Peace version has maple/mahogany shells. Cool kit. www.peacemusic.com.tw Look for the "Manhattan" kit. moyerbros@msn.com

Cocktail drums are for more like coffee shop gigs. The background band in "Something About Mary" had a drummer playing a cocktail drum.
