Members Farmer Ted
I've tried the Music and Art School, but they only offer lessons on the weekend, which I can't do. I'm looking for something affordable, in the Los Angeles area, and flexible with their schedule. Thanks, Phil

Members mR.dnA
I'd say look for the local music stores and ask - virtually all of them offer lessons.

Good point. In my case though...it's finding someone that will work with my style and not turn me into a machine. I play with rides on both sides and incorporate that into my playing. I hold sticks too far back, have a strange snare hieght (low) and so on. Though most instructors obviously allow for kit adjustment to your tastes....i have a sound that i like to project. Some in my case im looking for a tutor that will identify musically with me and help me grow within my style while still working on MY styles technique. Those are hard to come by....if anyone has a tip let me know where i can find one in LA
