Members 333president
Hey Guys, I love Fender's Cobain Jaguar model. But I want an American model without the relic look.I see those Cobain pickguards loaded with the dual humbuckers on eBay. Can I simply buy an American Jaguar and switch out the loaded pickguard with the stock pickguard? Would it fit/work? I really dig those dual humbuckers. Thanks! Members kayd_mon
You would have to route the body for it to fit. You could get a Classic Player Jaguar HH, though they aren't MIA. However, they are less money, and they are excellent (IMO).

Members Fab4ever
I have a Blacktop Jaguar fitted with TV Jones pickups and a Bigsby. Not what you're looking for, obviously, but I wanted to say that the body and neck of the Blacktop are really first-rate. It's an extremely comfortable, reliable guitar that has proven to be my gigging warhorse.
