Members thedudebro Posted September 27, 2013 Members Share Posted September 27, 2013 http://www.guitarpartsonline.com/Prewired-FR-Strat-Pickguard-HSS-Chrome-Mirror-50004.htmI'm about to order this loaded- chrome pickguard just for the sake of getting a chrome pickguard, but mainly I want to use it for reference as I'm taking them off and putting them on this guitar where the wiring is kinds of f%$#@ed up. My main question is about the 3 switch system, I'm not new to guitars by any means, trust me when I say that the way it was set up and how old the pups are, it made absolutely no distinguishable sense what they did. In fact there's a killswitch possition when the front 2 are engaged and the 3rd (has 3 possitions) dies right in the middle. And I kind of want to replicate it except one of the 2-poss switches. It definitely needs an upgrade if I'm gonna sell it, and it pains me, being the first guitar I ever loved, but It'll be the start of my carrear doing this stuff for a side business if I get $300 out of it.
