Members SuperStrat1977
I was looking at some Fender 250k potentiometers and noticed that the solid shaft ones come with a .01 mf capacitor and the split shaft ones come with a .022 mf capacitor. Does anybody know why they do that and what difference it makes?

Members DaleH
Many of the vintage Fenders had .01 mf capacitors. The guys from the guitar shop would walk over to the amp side of the shop and grab some caps. It wasn't rocket science.
