I've always stayed away from it beacuse I've seen it chip when used on rims. Though, I wasn't sure if that was because of abuse or possibly poor craftsmanship. Plated hardware, on the other hand, I think would be much more durable beacause it's a molecular bond (chrome plating lasts a good long time when taken care of). Thoughts? Comments?
