Members GOSG Posted April 10, 2007 Members Share Posted April 10, 2007 Last night final zoning approval was given to begin construction on the Sweetwater Amphitheater. I think it will fill a much needed gap in entertainment venues in this area. The project was conceived by a couple of people who worked in local bands, eventually moved to Nashville and worked hard and became employed by several national artists. They now are returning back to their hometown to build this project. (I know it sounds a bit like a Frank Capra movie plot, but it is true!) (Disclaimer: I'm friends with the couple so I'm a bit biased in my enthusiasm for their project!)
