Members meckanik Posted April 21, 2003 Members Share Posted April 21, 2003 I hope this isin't bad form. I've been looking for a drummer for my band for some time now. I've had some great drummers down to my space and I've gotten positive reaction from the guys (regarding our music) - but it just hasn't come together yet. Either the drummer is undecided, they decided to go with a different genre or they just don't have it together enough to make the commitment we're looking (or they just aren't good enough). We are playing heavier music, but a drummer that can only do basic metal drumming (lots of dbl kick, basic hi-hat and snare work) won't work - hence the mix of styles I listed in the subject. I'll post some links to songs with drums that I tracked that came out well (these are two different drummers that fall into the catagory I listed above).
