Is there any standard reference tones you can use, or what? I am a confused guitar player that is about to undertake the playing of drums and I am going to record mainly. Members stapes2260 Posted June 9, 2003 Members Share Posted June 9, 2003 start by looking up all the snare drum rudiments and practice doing them whenever you aren't at your set. the last thing you need to worry about when beginning drums is tuning drums to the song.
