Members built to refill Posted July 27, 2003 Members Share Posted July 27, 2003 My drummers been looking for a nice vintage fixer-upper for several frustrating months now. Recently I think he's been leaning more towards a new, vintage-styled kit He's waiting for a Lugwig to go up on ebay that slips by everyone else and that he can steal for a low price. A new Fab 4 is just a tad out of his price range. So today I was looking through the new GC and saw this Gretsch kit that looks right up his alley for only $500. I'm assuming by the price tag it's a significant step up from almost-DW-but-still-Pacific kit he's playing right now. What are the complaints and praises you guys usually hear about these kits?
