Members Newman
I was playing the drums with my earplugs in the other day and noticed that they needed to be tuned up. As I tuned the heads with my earplugs in, I noticed that it was easier to distinguish if the heads were in tune with themselves and eachother much easier. does anybody else tune with earplugs in? Is there any merit to the idea that earplugs can cut out overtones and make tuning more accurate? Does this look infected?
Members Snake
Never tried it. I guess it could work, but supplying earplugs for the audience could get expensive.

I use the "earplanes" which are a soft rubber plug. I started wearing them while practicing after I noticed that I was saying "huh?" to people too much.
