Members slickrick1688
I dont use the splash as a splash, it's stacked on my aux hats. And the china sounds alright, i mean, its a china, it's not supposed to sound real great to begin with.

Pork pie kits are rare in Australia, I think there is only one distributor. Might get me one one day...... It's a loud kit man. I recently put the Evan G2 heads on and it incresed the volume quite a bit... and made the tone deep with the right amout of overtones. The one thing I noticed that the kit never photographs well but, it does sound amazing. A band recently used it in the studio.

Members boose44
Just put some new heads on my BRX's and took the BRX 5.5 x 14 snare out of mothballs. Remo Emp. Suedes on the 8/10/12 Toms Evans G2 on the 15 & 18 floors. Remo Ambassidor on the snare. First time using the Suedes, and I have to say I like them a lot. Lame Ass didn't have Suedes in the 15 and 18, so I went with the G2's, which seem to play pretty well with the Remos. -bruce

Members Lysakoski
Here's the Pork Pie custom kit I recorded my band's last demo with... it's actually the studio kit sadly, but it sounded beautiful and tight. My brass Pearl Sensitone snare is pictured, but for the final recording I ended up using a 14" 1970s Rogers steel snare... my god that thing had some KRAKK! The kit had a 22" kick, 10" rack tom, 16" floating floor tom and came in that crazy red white n' blue sparkle finish. A completely different beast to my usual 24" kick, 14" rack, 18" floor tom chrome Premier setup.

I should have the 10x13 tom in a few months... then the kit will be complete.
