Members tadams
The Evans EMAD drum head worked out great this weekend. Previously I had added an inexpensive 20" kick (Sonor 3001) to my set to use for small gigs and to save wear and tear on my regular 22" Sonor Delite kick.I used the 20" with the stock heads at a previous gig and thought "never again". But I tried an EMAD head, no internal muffling, and used the small ring. I barely had time to tune it and it sounded unbelievable right away. Huge bottom end. I even got compliments from our finicky sound man.
