Members mparsons
I'm acquiring my first drumset and as part of the deal I'm getting an Iron Cobra double bass pedal I don't know if I'll be able to fully appreciate it though and I could use the money for other stuff. So I was considering trading the double pedal for a cheaper one + cash when I got it or maybe the pedal + cymbals. What do you think? Members HottKarl
Keep it. You'll be much happier in the long run with a good pedal. You may feel that your skills are not worthy of it but that's crap. In a year, you'll be looking for a decent double pedal, which this is, and will be kicking yourself for ever getting rid of it. Hardware is such an important part of your kit that sometimes gets overlooked. Don't do it.

Agreed. Stick with good pedals. It's no fun playing and watching a spring fly by your face while you wonder why there's no action on your pedal anymore...
