Members fesswrx Posted December 7, 2006 Members Share Posted December 7, 2006 I have a set I use for live if we are running our own sound but for recording I use a pair of stereo overhead condenser mics and a mic on the kick. The superlux's just don't don't cut it on recordings IMHO. You would be much better off with 57's if you want to close mic the entire kit than the Superlux's.
