Members summit111
My Brothers, Just this past weekend, I attended a late July 4th party at a friends house on Lake Pontchatrain near New Orleans. We always have several musicians attend and we jam to entertain the party goers. This area was hit pretty hard by Katrina. My friends house is 16 feet above water and he got a foot of water in it anyway. The area is coming back and his house has been rebuilt. We had too much food and not enough beer, but we made do. All the musicians were 50+ years. I played my latin percussion instruments and we did some smooth jazz, Jimmy Buffet island music, and a little bit of South American Bossa Nova. The breeze was blowing across the water and us as we played outside. Several of us watched a guy catch fish on the next dock over while we played. Life is good!
