I play mostly funk/fusion stuff, and you would think that they would be loud enough... I'm going to just play them a few more times, and if they still seem too quiet I'm going to return them for store credit and get either the used Zildjian K's or the Sabian AAX fusion hats. Members chesley Posted August 3, 2007 Members Share Posted August 3, 2007 Are they quiet? Hi Hats are really good about cutting through the mix. Perhaps you should have someone else whack them and have a listen out front. They may actually be in perfect balance to the kit and you are just really acustomed to hearing those spishy things way too loud. Then again, it is your ears that count!
