Members Dance123
Hi, Is it true that certain countries have chart rules, like is it true that in the UK in order for a single to be counted in the singles charts, it can not have more then 3 remixes of a song on it or something + a video track and can't be longer then 20 minutes or something like that. On the other hand, 2-track singles would also not be allowed I've heard once? Is this true? Anybody can tell what exactly the rules are and which chart exactly uses them cause there are so many charts out there. With the music industry having a difficult time, do those chart rules still apply in the UK or have they dropped them, cause I also see UK labels releasing maxi CDs with 5 tracks on it, etc.. or are those still not counted in the single charts? What about 2-track singles? Do other countries also have certain chart rules?
