Members TeRM
First off... sorry for the double post... I wanted to get as much input as possible. My band has an audition comming up to play a show at CBGB's in manhattan. It is one of our favorite clubs, and needless to say, we all want this to happen verrry much. We are a three piece melodic rock-punkish band... the perfect type for the venue. We have just acquired a NEW BASSIST with less then a month until the audition. I realize that this isn't the ideal position to be in... but we're in it and we want to make the best of it. Can you give me any advice, aside from knowing the music thouroughly and rocking out, to help us nail this audition? Any help/advice/tricks would be greatly appreciated... thanks a lot! Members chrisgraff
Hmmm..... Just own the room. If you're afraid of it, it will own you. That sounds corny, but it's true. An A&R rep once told a friend of mine his criteria for signing bands: "I either gotta wanna be him, or wanna f**k her" Best of luck.
