Members BlackTuesday
Ive always heard about Lars back in the day taping a quarter to his bass drum to get a chick sound out of it but do any of you know how he went about doing this? Was it taped where the beater hits or somewhere around the hoop? etc.

Members D Carroll
I was looking for a floor tom, but i gave up on it. Do you still rock the stock snare, or did you change it out?
Members BlackTuesday
I didnt get these drums new. My old friend gave up drumming to focus on MMA training and sold them (along with a 12" pork pie side snare) to GuitarCenter. I bought the PDPs for $300. For my snare I use a 14" Pearl Maple Free Floating snare.

Members Merlin Coryell
Look at the Gibraltar Click Pad. It comes in single or double and has metal plates inside that click together when struck. It can be used with any beater, but rubber, plastic or wood works best. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibraltar-Single-Bass-Drum-Impact-Pad?sku=445980
