Members manoeuver
When you're getting paid to play your songs, not other peoples'. not to pile on, but by far most professionals are playing other people's tunes (drummers especially.) The vast majority of people playing original stuff never make a dime.

Members WillyRay
Hogwash. Have you ever WASHED a hog? I generally agree, though... I still think most of the "money"-related definitions are too narrow. /w
Members 2xBass
Yeh,then we can trash your signature sticks here on the forum:lol: Wow we trash pros' signature sticks badly, imagine a non-pros' signature stick...
Members the DW
Have you ever WASHED a hog? No, but I saw one go through a car wash once. It wasn't pretty.
Members toddh
They wash hogs in Iowa...regularly. I don't know..."pro" in a lot circles means you get paid, right? But what if you play a show for 10 people and you've only been playing for 2 years. Are you pro. Is it skill level?
Members Weaselking
I'm a pro. I've got pro-mark drumsticks! Nah, I agree with jenks. You're a pro when you can't get things wrong.
Members mraia1
Lots of opinions here. All valid. I dont know. I tend to think that if you have made money doing it, your a professional. ACTING like a professional is great, of course, and something we all aspire to. But, in the strictest sense of the word, just because you do something well, or aspire to do it well, does that make you a PRO? Try this. I play football REALLY well. When I play, I take it seriously, warm up, show up on time, and give 100%. Am I a pro footballer? Same thing with the drums, I think. Just an opinion, though.
