Members Majoria Posted April 2, 2009 Members Share Posted April 2, 2009 I've never bothered to check my accuracy to the 3 to 1 "rule" in my studio and things turn out just fine. Rules are meant to be broken. Better to understand the theory behind the rule than the specific words of the rule. Also it's good to understand the difference between direct sounds and reflections and what each type of surface (reflective, absorbant, etc) will do to the sound.
