Members muel
I've been teaching a music appreciation class for adults with developmental disabilities, and have for some time been considering undertaking a drum therapy class. I missed out when Slingerland held their drum therapy certification seminar here a while back, but I'm still interested in proceeding. Anyone know of any online resources or have any experience to share with regard to drum therapy? I've heard that there have actually been empirical reports of progress with individuals with autism who participated in drum circles.

That's a source I can use to write some foundation grants to get some gear and take their instruction. That might just be the coolest job I've ever had to do - writing grants so foundations can buy us a bunch of gear.

Best part of it is thaht he provided footnoted sources that can be used to justify foundation grants. Getting a bunch of dead guys to buy some cool gear to help our clients!
