What does "published by: Copyright Control" mean?..

Hi,

 

In the credits of DJ Sammy's "Sunlight" it says following:

 

Sunlight written by: DJ Sammy, Marie-José von der Kolk, Martin Eyerer & Oliver Laib

published by: Copyright Control / Warner Chappell

produced by: DJ Sammy

 

Now, what/who is "copyright control" and what does it mean as far as copyright, royalties, etc.. goes in the above example?! Who is owning/getting what?

 

Also, does the "written by.." have any legal value, like is that the list of the composers who will get a part of the songwriting royalties or something?!

 

Any further advice you can give me? Like, is the "copyright control" statement somehow beneficial for the songwriter, etc..
