Members Miskatonic
Ok I feel like a total noob, so help is greatly appreciated. I've got everything setup except that I'm unable to get the hi-hats situated. I think I've got the top clutch part set up where the top cymbal is sandwiched between the nut you screw on and the top part. Unfortunately I can't get the cymbals spaced apart and come together when I push down on the pedal. They just don't come in contact with each other at all. The only time I can get any sound is when they are touching from the get go.
Members Miskatonic
Nevermind, I figured it out. Didn't realize the piece that pulls down with the pedal to bring the top hat down to touch the bottom hat was two pieces. Works like a charm now. Members El Glom-o
Indeed, not having the two action rods screwed together will make for some difficult hi-hat playing. Glad you figured it out. How do you like your Axis hi-hat so far?
