Members BeakerArk
Tonight's gig sounded worse than last week's. I'll still put up some stuff, b/c I said I would, but I'm not jazzed about the quality of the recording. Last night's outdoor gig sounded much better. time for some creative editing. Members BeakerArk
Took two cuts from the Friday gig to demontrate the snare at "fatback" and "medium-high" tensions. Apologies for the 2nd video. . .it's dark as hell (no stage lights @ Hooters), but you can hear the snare, which is the important thing. Away we go. . . A loose version of The Letter, ala Mad Dogs and Englishmen. Love playing this tune. This is perhaps the 2nd time we'd played it. . . An even looser version of the Heart tune. Darker than dark. Cranked the batter head a bit for this one. . .medium high tension. . . Members BeakerArk
Thanks for the kind words. They are greatly appreciated. The ride is an old Zildjian "A" 20". Have had it for goin' on 30 years now. Will prolly never replace it, if'n I haven't done so already. . which, as you can see, I haven't.
