Members fongie
Hello, not sure if this is the right place to ask this question? Anyway, I am only new at this, but I have just purchased a cheap cajon and wondered where would be the best spot to mount my microphone? The mic is a small rectangular match box like size with a volume control dial built on the upper flat side and a 1/4" input connection. The mic itself is very tiny and it is built into the smaller end of the rectangular box. I don't know much about these mics nor the make, I purchased secondhand on eBay as a cajon mic. Anyway, do I place the mic on the outside of the cajon or the inside of the cajon? And where would be a best spot to mount this? Above the sound hole or the bottom or side?
