Members SweetAlien Posted February 1, 2003 Members Share Posted February 1, 2003 Since my Ampcast membership expires in a week and I don't want to keep my music there anymore, I've decided to move it to mp3.com. (please don't flame me on this - my decision is absolutely rocky) But when I tried to create an artist with the name I wanted it said "name is already taken". But there is no such an artist there. I did a search and it didn't find it. Furthermore, I checked even Yahoo and Altavista for that name and it revealed nothing again. There is really no such an artist except me! F%ck! I thought inactive accounts get erased after some time as, say, on all respected mailservices! Since they claim that there is no email support for non-premium artists on Mp3.com - I can't reach them and talk with them. See, I don't want to pay money and find out that I can't use my name because some asshole registered that name just for fun!Does anybody have some experience with this problem?Thanks!
