Members boomerweps
Cleaned out my formerly flooded basement and finally gave up on keeping my old trashed cymbals. Got $1.65 for yellow brass, had 17# so I got $28.05 just for the cymbals. It was the bulk of what I got in $$ that day. Boomerweps
Members lossforgain
Umm...Most cymbals are bronze...? Unless they were el-cheapo pieces to begin with.

NOT too cheap of cymbals (although I have a set of crap 10" hats that came with my grandson's set I should have took along ;>). Wonder if Bronze is worth more in the recycle game? Members formula428
That's sad, I was looking for broken cymbals and would have certainly paid more than $28 for them.
Members rdrummer322
17 pounds? How many cymbals? That doesn't really sound like that many. I also would have given you more than $28, and recycled them myself into experiments. Anyone else have a stack of cracked cymbals they want to recycle?
