Members ckcondon
I hesitate to start this thread because I don't want to start that "He rules"/"He sucks" debate.I'm a fan, deal with it!I'm about halfway through the 3 dvd set and I'm pretty blown away by the content. Neil has always been a private guy who shys away from being a "rockstar", but the level to which he shares himself with fans via his writing and instructional dvd's continues to amaze me.He dissects every song on the "Time Machine" tour setlist by talking about key parts, demonstrating them in his practice room, then we get to see a drums-only view of the live performance with an audio mix tailored for the drums. There are even key parts and fills played back in slow motion so you can figure out exactly what he's doing!Even if you aren't a big Peart fan, you should check this out. He talks about a lot of issues performing drummers of all levels deal with, including equipment failures and trainwrecks during a show. There's a ton of content in this this collection and it's worth every penny! Members ThomasG
I remember seeing his Anatomy of a Drum Solo dvd and was blown away. This sounds even better! I'll have to pick it up when I get some money!
