Members chugheshc
I just bought a set of these, 5 pieces, look pretty well made. I know they are the cheaper Sonor drums, but anyone have any comments - pro/cons on them?I'm not a drum guy, these are for other people to use in my basement, and maybe I'll also give drumming a stab.what's up with the slot-head lugs? I've never seen that before.thanks in advanceChris

Members Kingnome
I own a set... in white... I've had better built drums, but I like these for their sound.. They sound "round" if that means anything. My Tamas don't have the "round" tone that these have. I prefer the Sonors for recording. Slot-heads?... Check out Premier, also from Europe. I had them too. I seem to remember a Premier ad saying something like 'in the event that you lose your drum key you could use a screwdriver or even a coin to change heads, etc...'--- something you cant do with standard square head lugs. I guess Sonor adopted this similarly un-American philosophy. I have a Sonor key, but my Premier key broke years ago.....
