Members djsynrgy
I have lots of obscure old vinyl, but no punk.. sorry dude.. When I wanna hear punk I go back to the guitar, not the turntables... I've heard it done though.. the problem with old records like that is, they didn't use click tracks in those days, (and truthfully several bands today still don't) so it makes it difficult to keep their tempos matched with any other records. Plus the fidelity is much different today than it was when the clash recorded 'london calling', for instance. If you wanna send me some punk records, I'm sure I could find uses for them.. There are DJs out there who mix ONLY punk rock. You just gotta look for them. I've done some work with weird {censored}.. like the original lady and the tramp soundtrack on vinyl... some old sesamee street {censored}.. Bill cosby live from the late 70's.. Hell, I've mixed Simon & Garfunkel's 'mrs robinson' with drum n bass.
