Members The Tortoise
Hi, I am selling my beloved 70's Gibson Grabber bass. It's kind of a beater, but it still sounds wonderful. This is the model with the single sliding humbucking pickup. The original owner sanded down the finish and then tung-oiled it, giving it a natural look. The neck has some wear and the fretboard is definitely worn in, but playability isn't hindered. Electronics work perfectly, I believe the knobs are non-original. The Grabber has Dunlop Straploks installed, and I am including the Carvin strap pictured. The case is a Gibson EBO case I believe, since the body fits but the headstock juts out due to the wide tuning keys. It still does the job though at protecting the bass. The case alone is worth $100+, and I purchased the bass for $325 last year. If you're interested, please shoot me a PM, I'm selling it because I'm moving and it would be one less thing to worry about. Asking price is $350 shipped. Thanks! Members bholder
I'd be on it if I hadn't already completed my collection. Someone buy this thing before I'm tempted!
