Members BEAD Posted July 7, 2005 Members Share Posted July 7, 2005 Well... it's time to do a bio, and my lack of interest in labels is starting to bite me in the ass. If you're in a band that doesn't sound much like anything you've heard, how do you describe it? I can confidently say that we aren't punk, or metal, or garage rock. The songwriter is pretty heavily influenced by godflesh... but if you didn't know it ahead of time I'm not sure if it would be apparent, because we don't sound like Godflesh very much at all. (We aren't metal, for one...) HE listens to a lot of horror movie soundtracks... some slowdive/my bloody valentine... He says we're shoegazerish, but I have yet to find a common thread whithin shoegazerish bands. Our stuff seems more structured and noisy anyway.
