Members Thunderbroom
A local music store is going out of business (for you area folks...Crow's Nest in Crest Hill) in the area. I decided to check it out. They didn't have any really super deals as all their CD's that are priced at $18.99 (hmm...could this have led to the store's demise???) and below were marked at $10.99. Everything else in the store is 20% off. According to what I read in the local paper, the guy is planning to take several months to liquidate his stock. Here's what I bought: Meat Puppets - Classic Puppets The Hives - You New Favourite Band Various - Exposed Roots: The Best of Alt.Country Victor Wooten - Soul Circus One last thing...some of the stuff that sells really well (the new Eminem CD for instance) was priced at $19.98 and thus not marked down. As much as I dig the store, there is a clear reason why many folks like myself would rather just order online.
Members Thunderbroom
Had a chance to listen these discs. Good purchases...even the Wooten disc. This one is listenable to me. There's no denying the guy has skills.
