Members DS3
Basspeeps, I need some help with finding information about my Bass. I bought this thing about 3 years ago, and have just found out that the use of the controls (as I first understood) is wrong! Anyone have a copy of the manual for this thing? Yamaha does not post anything either! I would love to have the manual to know just what I'm doing with this thing. From what I now know: 1. Has a volume (I think I know which knob)2. Has a pickup balance?3. Has a bass control?4. Has a treble control? I had all the while thought it had a volume, one bridge pickup, one mid pickup, and the tone control. Let me know ok? TIA, DS3

Members bleepo
The BBG5A is a cool bass. It has the Nathan East body design... THe G stands for Gold hardware, and the A is active. I have the passive version, so I can't tell you about the controls.
Members tim_1002
well you could test the pu selector by rolling it in either extreme direction ie. fully clockwise or anti-clickwise and tap some metal object at the pickups. the pickup which is on should register a loud thunk on you bass amp. don't know if this is good for you amp or not. then i'm sure u can figure out which is the bass and trable pots from then on no?
