I {censored}ING LOVE IT!! it's exactly what I was looking for.. I played it last night before going to sleep.. it sounds very rich and has tons of variation in the sound.. but the first time I played anything with everything set to mid, it gave the tone I was looking for.. only thing that sucked is they screwed me at the border.. actually no - it's more like two of them screwed me simultaneously.. one of my guitars cost me $38 combined brokerage and duty.. another cost me 60.. this time it cost me 160!.. haha.. but oh well.. Members Robear22 Posted December 22, 2005 Members Share Posted December 22, 2005 No they are custom made for TBC. They sort of have an EMGish character. Very clear and solid sound. The Barts were a little darker. Barts are a good option for basses that have a lot of snap and brightness because they are a darker sounding pickup IMHO.
