Members J the D
I play some theater gigs where I play my Jazz direct into the house PA through one of Audiopile's active DIs. I don't typically use any effects and have an amp and cabinet that are rather neutral so I am not losing any of my tone. We use Shure IEMs and I'm able to get a mix in my E-5s that has heavy bass. Members nofret
I use a Radial Bassbone and some good Sensaphonic in ears. Sound guys love it. It's very clean out front without a bass cabinet and the PA fighting each other.
Members Funkee1
I have done gigs with just the PodXT Live direct into the PA. Sounds great!
Members Emprov
No modelers but I've played direct into a PA many, many times. I actually prefer it provided the guy running the sound knows his stuff.
