Members CabbitHabbit324
Hello all! I'm about to invest in a Euro Neck Thru Spector after a toss up between it and a Warwick Streamer. Spector ended up winning because it's almost the same thing for about $2000 less. I've never been the best at setting the EQ to get the exact tone I want... close, but not quite. I'm playing through a Peavey 450 Solid State Head, with 2 4x10 Peavey Cabs. What setting on the head/bass EQ/pickup volume would get me something close to the early Incubus/Jamiroquai bass tone? Clean and warm, but with alot of punch to it? Gracias in advance mi amigos ^_^
Members Jazz Ad
With this bass and amp I'd keep everything flat and push the gain.Maybe a slight upmid boost, around 800.
Members CabbitHabbit324
Sounds easy enough, thanks Jazz Ad. Is it supposed to be so ironic that some of the best tone is accomplished with such little tweeking?
