Members MistahMojoRyan
I've rec'd basses in 6 business days by US Air Mail but it usually takes longer; 12 business days (give or take) is a safer bet.
Members sudbury
did you get a tracking number though, thats what i find most strange.
Members MistahMojoRyan
No, I've never rec'd a tracking # for any packages coming via USPS either Ground or Air. (At least, if I did get one, I never used it.)
Members hammer744
Most likely it's sitting in customs - that can be a big source of delay (and $$$$ - wait until you get that invoice).
Members MistahMojoRyan
I wouldn't worry about Customs. Through USPS/CP, you'll get charged PST, GST and a handling fee ($5 to $10). If it was sent through UPS, for ex, you'd get charged all of the above plus a brokerage fee...that can get ugly.
Members sudbury
yeah the brokerage fees are nuts, i am prepared for some charges at the door. some free trade agreeement! our dollar is way up but we still can't get stuff for the same as our neighbours down below! It was so bad that Canada Post refused to take responsibility for it telling me that they received it in that condition from USPS. Luckly for me, the bass inside was fine.
