Members bholder
Did you get the lined kind or varilux? I got the latter, and it was weird getting used to at first - it seemed like every vertical line I walked by (like a door frame or a post) would bend and twist as I went by it. And learning how to walk down stairs with them on was interesting, to say the least.

They seem to work pretty well, I can now see close up again, but you're right about the vertical lines bending. This is going to take some time to get used to. Members Crescent Seven
My wife was told she would need bifocals very soon. She went the next week and scheduled Lasik. C7
